I think it is designed to be used at a desk instead of an office chair. On the site I linked they do a version of their racing rig converted to a flight sim rig.

The second one is actually a bit of a rip off coz you've gotta by the seat as well as the frame and then you have to buy the mounts for the stick and throttle.

I'm thinking for that price, you'd be better served with an Obutto. Just got mine a couple of weeks ago and could not be happier.
