It's weird.. I am looking forward to rFactor 2.. but i was hoping for a bigger leap int he look of the game. I know screenies don't tell the full picture and any videos released will likely have some compression that makes the game not quite as good looking as it is but everything i see looks very much like rFactor 1.

I hope i am mistaken as whilst i accept that the racing is the important thing i am also fairly shallow and i would like it to also look pretty!

I know what you mean. On the one hand it's nice to know that progress is being made but a few of the WIP shots have been less than flattering. Like it or not, visuals are important these days (although not at the expense of gameplay/physics etc).

Still, my guess is that some things are still early in development and we are several months form a release. We've already seen from other shots that things are capable of looking much nicer. I'm sure the final product will look better but sometimes I struggle to understand why releasing inconsistent promo material is a good idea. Personally i'd have all the eye candy turned up and try to make things look as nice as possible. That pic just looks like the nissan has been badly photoshopped onto a rF1 track. I'm sure ISI will deliver the goods eventually - and for me, the new features/bugfixes are the things that i'm most looking forward to.

PS. It's also nice to see ISI have another track apart from Sepang smile Looks a bit like Estoril to me...
