I installed rFactor from an old disk,version 1.150. I even played it to make sure it was working. Then I downloaded and installed VHR 2011 as standalone. Double-click on the desktop icon, it doesn't start. It says rFactor disk needs to be in drive D:. For some reason my Drive D: refuses to read the rFactor disk. Drive E: reads it, but when I double click on VHR icon it asks for Drive D:. I'm pulling my hair out. Is there a way around this?

did you copy the rfactor.exe over to the VHR2011 install?

is 1150 the most recent version? VHR may not work w/out the latest exe for rFactor.

Patch? Okay, I'll try that. Someone else said all I needed was any version of rFactor.

That was me, but I did not mean "any" in the literal sense because I have no way of knowing what version of rF you own. And getting the latest version is pretty easy. 1255 has been out for years now and mods are all made to accomodate that version.

someone will have to let you know which patch to download. I see there's an update from 1250 to 1255, but that won't work for you if you have 1150. You'd be best with the 1255 full install, I suspect, and use your TriMedia access code to activate it. I have no idea what the DVD "F" patch is, but perhaps that's what you need. Someone else would have to answer that one.
