When does it come out? I uninstalled rFactor over six months ago, in expectation of rFactor 2's 2010 release. I was tired of trying to keep up with all the mods anyway, many of which lacked self-installers, an essential for a non-technical person like me. Besides, rFactor 2 is supposed to come with rainy weather and upgraded A.I., a good thing for those of us who race mostly offline.

No idea. Keep in mind that Gjon's team has a 'real' job - working on private party applications of their code. Real F1 and other teams pay good money for rF Pro and it being tailored specifically to their needs. The commercial versions (rF, rF2) are merely a labor of love/hobby for ISI and I suspect they work on it when there isn't something else to be done that pays better.

They must feel close-ish to being complete with that title, but they have never guaranteed a release date. You might see it in 2011... or you might not. Just be pleasantly surprised when it is releaseed.
