Sounding great, hoping for a much more accurate (though I doubt laser scanned) Nordschleife as well as other tracks, hoping they beat GT5 on track accuracy and on physics feel which is already a high bar (saying that as a big GT5 fan).

Also I hope they quit wasting time on that Kinnect support (who is going to be able to hold their hands like that in the air for hours) and instead focus on some decent FF wheel support...

If they can manage to support some decent FF Wheel then I will buy a XBox 360 for Forza4.

Happy birthday Skatezilla!

The big question: will it be able to handle steering with a wheel/controller *and* head tracking? The thing I want to know that I've yet to hear is if Kinect will be able to work in conjunction with controllers instead of replacing them.

lol.. i wonder if those with Kinect could do a proper old school Le Mans start.. All drivers have to stand still, then the flag drops and everyone has to run like billyo on the spot to simulate running to the car, then jump in the air to simulate jumping in the car and finally twist their wrists to turn the key and start the car..

Kinect head tracking would be cool but I think hand tracking for a "virtual wheel" is more a gimmick for marketing and kids and grandmas than anything, I've tried using the wii virtual wheel on Mario Karts Wii and it's hard to get accurate steering when your hands are up in the air like that, not to mention the missing force feedback on what the car physics are doing.

I'm just hoping they still spend some time to make the physics and FF realistic like GT5 for the sim racers who will pick this up, otherwise it will be Mario Karts physics with decent cars and tracks IMHO.

People always underestimate how many people want to make the realism jump to a wheel, but MS should take a hint by how the G27 sold out everywhere when GT5 came out.

I meant hand tracking as in using hand to toggle switches and buttons.

ie placing hand on the ignition switch and moving it up to turn the ignition on to start the motor of a stock car.

SimRacingTonight is reviewing that G27 adapter soon. Not getting my hopes up, and it's pricey, but I hope it passes the test.
