Hey guys! I'm looking to build a PC or two, one for me and one for a buddy of mine. Both can either be sub-gaming rigs, or I can sell my current rig to my buddy and make one sub-gaming and one gaming rig.
I've been out of the loop for a while so if anyone can give me an idea of where to look CPU- and GPU-wise, that would be great. For the CPU, I see the i5 750 is no longer available, but there is an i5 760 and a bunch of i5 2xxx Sandybridges, are any of these even worth considering? What has AMD put forth to compete? For the GPU, I see a lot of new buyers are getting the GTX models, have they surpassed AMD's 57xx/58xx/68xx line?
Once I narrow down the choices, motherboard considerations next.
The limit for these PCs will be in the £800 range, and need to be a complete build --- which means including monitor, keyboard, PSU, speakers, etc.
Thanks!
