not enough voltage can cause the same problem.

Yeah without being able to monitor temps I decided that when I got errors at 3.2 to back it off to 3.1 and it was probably a voltage issue I only bumped it about .025v since I have no expertise in this and don't really want to have to buy a new cpu.
