Hello ladies and gentlemen!

I would like to pop a quick question here. I've got an old but working X-52 back home in Sweden. But right now I'm living in Barcelona, Spain. So of course I'm thinking about the Warthog stick...

The two choices are: Buy a brand new Warthog stick or to bring down my old stick and use it like earlier.

Back to my "quick" question, how does the X-52 work with DCS A-10. All the boats, hats and asian country switches I keep seeing in manuals and threads...have anyone been able to map them all on the Saitek?

I haven't tried A-10C at all so far, since I haven't bought a spanking new computer yet.

Cheers!

Edit: Ok, I found this one http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=58484 But please give some input from your personal experience.

It took some work, but I managed to cram all the controls form the A-10C's HOTAS onto the X-52. No mode switching required for flight, which frees up mode 2 for using ATC with the toggles on the bottom, but everything is doubled up using the pinky switch which makes for some fairly compliated controls which I'm still trying to perfect. A warthog HOTAS is undoubtably better (I sure want one!) but don't be worried that you can't physically fit it all on the X-52.

Its not bad. My profile is all on a single mode and I tried to keep all of the relevant buttons and hat switched close to where they actually are on the actual flight stick. Mine is a bit different than the one linked, mostly in terms of the toggle switches. I have engine start-up and shutdown, lights, and comms on my toggles.

I have a setup for my X52 Pro that works well for me. I still go to the keyboard for a number of commands, but all the HOTAS stuff is on the stick somewhere. It's not as elegant as the Warthog HOTAS, but it floats my boat.

Thank you guys!

Things are going the way of the Warthog now...I will pass the X-52 on to my father.
