Nope. US Army issue. When I bought it on Ebay, it was "very" used. The restoration, painting, and re-wiring was all done by me.

Wow Grizzly,
I really like the work you did on your throttle. Very clean and professional looking. Looking forward to seeing more progress on the collective as well. Great work.

I'm finally putting the finishing touches, on my Comanche front dash. Here's a couple of early pics. It was sitting upside-down on my bench, when I took them, so sorry for all the clutter on the "ceiling". It's only partially lit, too. The upper panel and corner panels have yet to be hooked up. I love it when a plan comes together!

OMG ! Maybe you shouldnt post those. Oh, yeah, they cancelled it. You might have been "investigated" or procurement issues. LOL. Would be nice to get those MFD's with some sort of real screens in them, dammit..

Would be nice to get those MFD's with some sort of real screens in them, dammit.. I hear that! If you notice, that's why I made them square. The real ones are rectangular and closer together. However, EECH's MFDs are square. So I made mine square, with removeable light boxes. If we ever get that figured out, I'll be ready. Also, there are several indicators in the top panel that will be statically lit, for now. If Retro gets that "status" app running on Comanche's, hopefully I can get them running with SIOC and make them work, too. (Gotta leave a little room for improvement, right? )

... (Gotta leave a little room for improvement, right? ) Some neat work you did there, Grizz!.. Btw, what do you plan to have replacing the light boxes when the MFD export becomes available?... Getting a couple of small LCD monitors could a little bit expensive, right?!...

Man, that is great!! By far one of the best homepits ive seen so far. Please show some more pics when you have a chance. Also, I would love to hear some more detail as to how you made the components. Great work Grizzly!!

Thanks guys. Btw, what do you plan to have replacing the light boxes when the MFD export becomes available?... Getting a couple of small LCD monitors could a little bit expensive, right? I agree. My idea was a bit more "old school". I plan on using 9" color security monitors. They're long and slender, without much case around the screen, and easy to mount. I already have one lying around and there are always some listed on ebay, for cheap. The input is video-in but a Matrix card, or anything with a decent video out, should work. There will be some loss in image quality but come on, they're only MFD pages. The side MPDs will always remain static display switch panels, using the lightboxes. I would love to hear some more detail as to how you made the components. I posted this a few pages back. It had a few more details. Right MPD

I just finished the last of the DC wiring. Here's a pic of the dash, with everything lit up now.
