Very nice screenies. Oblivion certainly is beautiful. Skyrim looks like it will blow it away though. 11.11.11. I can't wait.

Is that Slof's horse mod I see?

I've read that Two Worlds 2 is just as, perhaps more, immerssive as Oblivion so check it out if you want a new RPG.

nahhhh, First person RPG will be always better for me, it literally puts you in an other body... even with some glitches, bad animations and not that pretty face characters, it's still the most immersive open world RPG I played in all my videogame life (which begun with a pong console and a ZX81!!)

Skyrim will just make ES even better with a new Frazetta's Style, better animations and character's face.... when I saw the first screen shots, I was on a cloud of happiness!

Animation/posture and very realistic tones! (xbox screens so textures are not that great, but I will play this game on a PC)

Better realistic faces!!

Frazetta-like style!

Dangerous and seemingly well animated foes!

Two Worlds II is first person and looks and plays quite similar to Oblivion, even has horses just like Oblivion has.

Oh, I stand corrected. I haven't bought it yet, just read good things about it and is a good game for Oblivion type fans. I do have the original TW though and thought there is a FP option but perhaps my memory is flawed.

Sadly, there's no other game out right now that even comes close to being a replacement for oblivion. Both gothic and two worlds two are 3rd person only, and don't seem to be anywhere near as good as oblivion. Basically, we're gonna have to wait for sky rim to get a fantasy rpg in 1st person mode that's worth playing.

You have TW2? I saw one post from someone that claimed TW2 is like Oblivion on steroids. I was hoping that was an accurate description.

I don't. I am not interested in 3rd person games, with the notable exception of Mass Effect.
