Yikes! Looks like TDU has gone down the tubes. What platform are those shots from?

Magnum, how would you say the driving compares to the first TDU? It seemed that the first game was sort of half way between Need for Speed and Forza.
Great shots by the way!

IMO the driving is far better than in the last one. Much more controllable. This is with a 360 wheel on console, so I can only imagine on pc it's even better. Played the original a few weeks ago and could barely drive in it.

I got the PC version also... it drives nice but with my FANATEC... way to much turning of the wheel required, so hard to do those quick wheel turns around other traffic... and stick can't see how I can use the clutch and stick shift, but still learning. I like the driving school, it's like GT5 more that way. My biggest beef is the wheel response. (at least right now).

I'm enjoying it too. My steering with the Logitech Driving Force GT is very loose though, which seems opposite to you, Magnum.
Sorry I don't know the answers to your questions. If anyone finds a way to remove that bar on replays, I'd be grateful for an answer too.
I created a club, if anyone is interested. It's called "Dogs Who Eat Curry". Anyone with the PC version is welcome to join.

I was trying to create a SimHQ club, but wasn't seeing where... is it in game or at the site?
BTW, I was running red lights, stop signs, and speeding...and by cops... nothing... so then I get a phone call, from the police... I answer... This is the police, theres an aggressive driver near you, you want to chase him? lol I replied, I'm probably the aggressive driver, I'm off duty, and I pay your taxes... you do it! lol
So citizens get to chase the bad guys for the police. lol

There's a building you have to drive to on the map. Use the map filter to see only "spots for avatar". It's not far from where your first house is. You need $50,000 in cash to start a club.

I'm waiting reviews on this one... for the steering wheels the first one was not bad with decent indepth setup, is it not the case anymore on TDU2???
So how is the driving since TDU 1? better, slight improvement? on the videos, it feels as cluncky as the first one, like there is no inertia/no mass and the vehicule seems behaving like a big block... is that still the case with TDU2? I'm very disappointed by the physics, the only real weakness of this title. Did you tried the Photomode? you can do pretty cool picture with it.

In my opinion the driving has improved since the first game. Maybe I just have a better controller now though. I had TDU1 on the 360, and I found it to be VERY difficult to drive with a controller or cheap 360 wheel. At speed it was like driving on oiled ice. Felt slippery as hell. With TDU2 I got the PC version and I'm using the Logitech Driving Force GT wheel. It's actually driveable now. (the cheap 360 wheel was impossible to drive with) The steering is very loose for me still, and the cars don't feel like they have weight to them at all. Nowhere near iRacing or Rfactor for example. (or even GT5) I'm not overly impressed with photo mode, but so far the game has kept me entertained for 6 hours of game time.

Might check out some other comments on the game, some good points and bad points: http://simhq.com/forum/ubbthreads.php/topics/3204308/Re_TDU2.html#Post3204308Maybe the pc version doesn't have the MP group issues, but on 360 it's difficult to get a group together and locked on the same server.

I'll be doing some Xbox 360 Videos again this summer, I just now got my Intensity Pro working again. (sort of).
Apparently there was a Driver/Firmware update this winter that either broke or killed WDM/VFW Support as Virtual Dub Stopped detecting the device as a tuner and the only programs I can get to actually interface and tune with the device is the Media Express App BlackMagic has, and I think Media Player Classic. So once I figure out what they changed to make my beloved virtual Dub, Premiere Pro, and After Effects unable to interface I'll be recording so more. (or I'll be forced to use MediaExpress, which wouldnt be so bad if they had a FULLSCREEN option).
Magnum is this the problem you were having with your Intensity Pro?

Two questions: 1. Does the game still have car dealerships?
2. Whats up with the Toureg? I thought VW's had been canned from the car list. I'm kinda getting hopeful the game has the GTI now..
..and maybe a Porsche or two, perhaps the EVO and STI...and a few a more corvettes...

There are RUF Porsches, and as for VW there's a GTI and a Toureg of some flavor or another. Still have dealerships, tuners, and a lot of silly avatar customization shops. LOL
Servers for the 360 (don't know about PC or PS3) have been completely down this afternoon, can't get into the game at all. Their forum shows they're working on some bugs, but doesn't specifically say anything about servers being completely down.

Can you upgrade your cars with parts and and spoilers and such? How is the damage model? I'm guessing the driving is arcadey but I'm alright with that.

I see that they have retain the stupid head-bobbing effect in the cockpit view.
I like TDU, and I'm sure I enjoy TDU2 even more.
But in as far as those people in the team who made the decision to have head-bobbing in cockpit view, they need a good kick in the head.

This is with a 360 wheel on console, so I can only imagine on pc it's even better. Sadly it's not. In fact, it's terrible with my G25. Almost unplayable. Absolutely no feel and almost digital input. Dreadful.
