Although I do enjoy the reference material especially the technical manuals have you run across any first hand accounts that are out of copyright?

Not yet GreyCat, but there are thousands of books published after the war, which are becoming available, so it's only a question of time. There was one about The Red Baron, published soon after his death, in 1919, if I remember right. Try doing a forum search.
