TacPac from VRS and now this, do they found the holy grail to make this happen?
I`m curious what will turn out to be the best implementation for weapons in FSX.

Looks good for 15 Euros.

Seems as if the weapons are virtual so cannot be seen externally but may be added in future developments.

Also not sure if you can be hunted by enemy planes or you are just the hunter. But looks fun and I will probably give this a try as it works on any FSX plane so you don't need expensive add-ons first.

Of course you can see the weapons externally.... or do I misunderstand you?

Just paid £12.66 for it - which includes all the add-on AI military aircraft and various scenery for different eras of military flight from WWII through Korea, Vietnam, Iraq to date.

Also an SDK for developers, free to download - even without a Capt Sim account.

Mine's bought, downloaded and ready to go as soon as I have FSX reinstalled (just did a Win7 reinstall....).

YAHOOOO! xwing

Flash

btw, did I say band ?

No?
Well, actually, I meant whoohoo

I read the manual and it says that in the future they may develop it so the weapons show externally so maybe I misunderstood it! I was wondering how they would show all the missiles and rockets under the wings of a Cessna so some screenshots would be good. I just assumed you saw the effects from inside the cockpit only. But either way it sounds like fun!

Well, for aircraft like the A2A Spitfire, external weapons are not necessary... for aircraft models to actually "shed weapons" I guess you have to build them on purpose, like the VRS Hornet.

Awesome that this is taking off now. Even if we can just get some AI performing random evasive manouvers it will be very neat gunnery practice.

There are NO EXTERNAL WEAPONS MODELS SHOWING ON AIRCRAFT with this mod... So no, you won't see missiles on your plane externally, but you do see the missile fly when shot, they magically appear flying from your plane... hmmm...

This is lame and feels extremely unfinished... a proof that being first is not always best... patiently waiting for the "other, better, finished, polished, fully working, fully featured alternative" from the "other company that actually cares more about their product than their wallet"...
