Good evening!

As you may know, I've been reworking the turret numbers and markings for the panzers in 'Steel Fury'.

Here are some examples of the current version "0.2" smile





The numbers and markings were changed for these vehicles:

Sk 232, Sk 250, Sk 251,
Panzer II,
Panzer III,
Panzer IV,
Panzer 38t (C and G),
StuG III C/D,
PzJg I,
Panther,
Tiger & 'TigerSS',
Tiger II.

This 'mod' also includes the unit emblems of SS Panzer Divisions 1, 2, 3 and 5; these were done by Ntalex, and have been available separately at the sukhoi.ru site.

Hi Kyth got a question for you. I resently got a new rig and finally got my SFK42 fully modded up and ready to go. But I might have ran into a problem with your Numbers Mod and Rends Prokho .v1 missions. I was playing the Prokho missions earlier today and had both the PzV & PzVI missions crash 1/2 way through with a Exception Error code. It really had me scratching my head as your 1-6 single missions played just fine earlier this week. After trying hard to remember my exact JSME SFK42 mod install order on my last rig (a real waste of time there hahaha ) I did remember that I didn't have your Numbers Mod activated on that SFK42 install and Rends Prokho missions were fine. On this new SFK42 install I did have the Numbers Mod activated along with your missions, but I had not installed/activated Rends Prokho mission yet. So just on a hunch I deactivated the Numbers mod in JSME and now Rends Prokho missions play fine now. Has anyone else reported a problem with this?

Hi, Godzilla,

No one else has reported your problem (not that there's been much response rolleyes)

May I have more details, like the mods which were activated, and their sequence?

If I were to hazard a guess, I'd think the common files like 'common_res.engcfg' and 'matlib' are the likely cause.

I'll definitely look into this,

And Kyth don't get discouraged even if there isn't much talk or feedback about what your doing, the number of D/L's at your file site and the one here in the Graviteam forums (Mediafire) tell the real story. I don't know if you can see the D/L numbers of your mods at the Mediafire site but here they are.
Mission 1 = 22 D/L
Mission 2 = 19 D/L
Mission 3 = 7 D/L
Mission 4 = 11 D/L
Mission 5 = 6 D/L (just recently uploaded)
Mission 6 = 2 D/L (just recently uploaded)
KMarkings = 2 D/L (just resently uploaded)
MG34 Fix = 41 D/L
Pathfinding Mod = 46 D/L
Those numbers are not too shabby considering the Mediafire site was off line for awhile and didn't get back up until 11/27/2010 and your files have been added after that.

In the first column, I assume it worked without a problem for the other Tiger 1 missions in SPM1.5?
The 'Rends_Prokho v1' entry seems to be inserted between the Steel Sound Mod and the Gunnery range mission?
Was everything below that deactivated, then activated again? I'm guessing something went off the rails here,

And I have a favor to ask, could you start everything over again in this sequence,

SPM 1.5 Beta

Steel_Sound_Mod_Collection

By the way, I did manage to play through Rends' Panther mission, together with the markings mod and everything. No problems, and as usual, steam-rollered the opposition smile

Hi Kyth,
I'm sorry I cannot answer your question about the SPM 1.5 Tiger I missions in relation to the first column JSGME SFK42 mod activation since I didn't play it at that time. But you might have something there about were I activated Rends Prokho mission in the JSGME SFK42. I didn't think it would present a problem where the Prokho missions got activated in the JSGME SFK42 sequence since Rends Prokho installation has you insert his text lines into levels/LEVELS/camp/camp_list and your missions and the Tank Gunnery Range-SOV text lines get inserted into the levels/LEVELS/camp/user_camp list. But I will do as you asked and I will get back to you sometime today with the results, but if you were able to play Rends missions then it definately sounds like I got something wrong. I do agree the German part of Prohko missions are one sided, but it's so much fun to be almost invincible isn't it hahaha But when i want to get my karma leveled I play from the Russian side....a very sobering experiance WinkNGrin
