Nice shots. I love the terrain from this sim, and that winter shot with all the activity in the background really gives a sense of being part of a big operation.
The only thing that looks weird to me from this sim is that there are no shadows. It's probably not that important for the actual game-play, but it just looks kind of strange, and sometimes makes the vehicles look like they're hovering or something.

Has anyone tried the ENBseries Bloom mod on this sim yet? Does it help?....I guess i should try it and answer myself.

As nice as it would be to have shadows, when you're using the Sim you really don't notice they're missing, you're too engrossed in trying to staying alive, But as Ssnake says, eSim are going to address this at some point, maybe sooner than later.

Very nice screen shots, I've just started experimenting, with that too, The skin is for the M901, not thee FISTV, it's by dpabrams over at the SB forums, the M113 skin above is by him and he has also done some great skins for the M1, M113 and M901 skin link, http://www.steelbeasts.com/Downloads/p13_sectionid/286and he's hopefully going to release a cold war pack for the M1 soon, some screens can be found in this thread, http://www.steelbeasts.com/sbforums/showthread.php?t=14994

Wow brings back some memories. Still at it I see Ssnake lol. I remember testing out the original when it was brand new and recommending dropping the TOW launcher on the Brad's while they are moving. It's come a long way!
Going to have to pick this up some time;)

Thanks for the info, Ssnake and crusty. I wasn't trying to be critical, just making an observation of the screenshots. The lack of shadows certainly wouldn't keep me from buying this sim. Hey, Ken - so are you close to buying SBP? It would be great if you did. I would really enjoy getting together for MP with you. I think you would not only enjoy the sim a lot but that it would become a long term resident on your computer. It is a bit like Falcon or Jane's F/A-18 for a lot of people in its depth, plethora of missions, and sheer immersion and longevity. Although at the very very beginning it takes some practice in the usual sim requirements, I believe you would find that you much more quickly find yourself quite comfortable - fighting the mission and not the sim. And enjoying it.
