Hi,

Unfortunately, I have not find a way to make the Logitech G940 to work with Gunship! Do you know how to do ?

Best regards,

Joch

Hmmm, looks like you're not having much luck so far.

I will give it a try this weekend and let you know how I get on.

Haven't had a sim yet that I can't use it with, so hope this won't be the first.

Okay, I just reinstalled Gunship and had a go with the vanilla game.

All set on realistic and flew the ATGM Tutorial mission.

The G940 stick worked well in controlling the cyclic, the rudder was default-mapped to the Trim 1 slider. I couldn't find any other axis assignments.

You just need to do the same as I do with EECH and use the Logitech Gaming Software to assign the controls to your G940 set-up and you should find it all works well.
Even though it doesn't recognise the throttle and pedals as controllers, it will still recognise them as keybaord inputs via LGS.

So set the pedals up with zones for the rudder (I would ensure you keep the Slider 1 in its in-game central rudder position).

It means either using the keys for collective or assigning it to buttons or the D-pad on one of the G940 bits, as I doubt it would work too well with axis zones. But that is still workable and doesn't take too much from the game experience.

I'll be setting this up myself for some quick fun now & then and when I've done the profile, I can upload it if you like.

Hope this helps.

FH

PS - I just tried it without the LGS and found that the stick is still fine, the rudder is still defaulted to R1, but now I can look around with the stick D-pad and the hat is defualted to the collective. With or without LGS, the trigger works as weapon fire/release.

Plus you get the force feedback effects when firing your weapons biggrin

I think I have the X52 working with all axiis in Gunship!, not that I bother with that sim much. You might also want to mess with the little flight model config file. There's a way to turn on auto-leveling and turn off attitude hold/attitude command/rate command, and then you might be able to set something up in the Logitech (not sure if it's possible, since I don't have one) where you hit a trim button and the stick stays put in that spot. Would be worth attempting, since you have a forcefeedback stick.
