Hi!

I and an other guy play multiplayer with this sim. We have a little lag, but this is our smaller problem. The bigger is that the client player's machinegun is useless. If I wait long time and then fire, all the ammunition is gone with one shoot. But it's blows amazing smile

Are there anyone who figured out something with this problem?

I also have this exact problem

If a client fired thier gun, stopped firing and then went to fire again later, the ammo count would be as if the client had never stopped firing in the first place. Perhaps there is some kind of disconnect between the host noting when the client has ceased firing.

I don't know if this was a bug introduced by the community modding, but it would be great to see a fix!

An additional issue, I can run MP fine on my Vista machine, but the laptop i'm on at the moment has Windows 7 and I can't seem to find any games in MP.

Can anyone let me know what settings you are using to get it working in windows 7? I'm keen for some MP on AMRAAM's.

someone needs to host one for a start (Amraam's server is down). It can be easily organised though. I'm currently in transit, but would be keen to organise a game later on.

This is technical issues aside of course.

When it comes to hosting EECH the far better option is to host on a separate machine. In the past i hosted both EECH and EE2 exstensivly on and old 2.4ghz P4 running winxp with very few problems. You just need to add an old PC onto your home LAN, then forward the EECH DX7 ports to the server PC. The host connects from their gaming PC by entering a LAN address and the Clients connect via the WAN address. Playing as well as hosting on the same PC is very problematic in that everytime the host has an issue the server will crash losing all campaign progress.

ok thx guys, I'm back in UK for a couple days let me know if anyone wants to try this... unfortunately i'm in hotel on wireless and it would be tough to do the port forwarding thing with their router ... am I doomed to no M/P then??? even with IP to IP ? thx !

Since I tried Apache vs. Havoc about a decade ago, I always wanted to have a real human wingman, so it would be great if we could revive multiplayer in EECH, and if anyone can put up a serve then don't wait anymore, bring it up!
