Anyone have any experience with the Micro Four Thirds lens system?

I don't, but if you don't want to get rid of them, you could try and get mount adapters like http://www.amazon.com/Olympus-MF-2-Micro-Thirds-Adapter/dp/B002CGSYN0 so you can stick them on a micro four-thirds camera (I'm assuming that you already have a micro 4/3s camera here). Depending on the electrical contacts, you might lose exposure metering, or other things...

Thanks, I decided to buy this one.

Fotodiox

It will only let me use them in Manual Focus mode, but that's all I was really after anyway. One interesting thing about the mirror-less Micro Four Thirds system is that it will double the effective length of these old lenses, so my old 250mm will become 500mm without getting any bigger.

I have a G1 with 14-45 and 45-200. Great camera system.

There is a great forum for info if you are so inclined.

I also go a SLT-A33 with Tamron 18-250.

Thanks for the link.

The adapter is a nicely made piece of kit, and will let me get some new life out of the old glass. One thing I'm finding is that the Micro Four Thirds "advantage" of increasing the focal length appears to work in reverse with a macro lens in that you get less magnification. I'll have to think a bit about the lens physics behind that one...

Smaller sensor is the worst part of M/ft cameras. No way around that.
