I cannot get any cust support from these people, does anyone know the secret to uninstalling old Saitek drivers? I dont want to go in the registry- I have W7 64 home and I uninstall the stick and the drivers I an see but they are still there. The stick has axis problems, and Saitek tech support stinks

I got mine yesterday 2/15/11. It will take a bit of getting used to, I went to the "X" from the "EVO". The X is not as sensitive as the EVO and the "adjustable" features are not as good as the EVO. Overall I like the X, I will give it some time and see how I feel.
I use Win7 home premium, amd quad 2.6, 6 gig ram, Nvidia GT 240 1 gig video. I play Rise of Flight with it and have had no trouble with any axis or buttons.
Sorry your having trouble, are you trying to install a different stick ?

Just install the new one and see how it goes. They often take care of all of that for you. I rarely bother to uninstall hardware drivers anymore.
Saitek drivers install under a couple of different devices IIRC, you may be missing one. You can always go to device manager and just go through the list, hit properties and uninstall driver, but they won't all be obvious.
I'd just go for it with the new one.
