Where I work I have seen metallic components made from an additive layer manufacturing machine if that makes hopefully that makes its way to the public
The only problem with additive manufacturing is the surface finish that is produced, I think they currently have to improve it after manufacturing by using another laser!

That's selective laser sintering, and they can even make titanium pieces with that technique. Recently an old woman had a 3D printed titanium jawbone implanted to replace her own damaged one. Terminator springs to mind
The guys working on the handle is at a frantic pace But I need help! Necessary parameters springs, which I have on screen. Excluding those interested in how the spring - by twisting or untwisting if omitted from the top to the trigger? Who has a pen please help.
