We chose to expand Wake in both size and the number of missions. The more we researched, the more we thought you would enjoy flying.
Here are some details and practice mission shots.
The New Wake before Edward planted all the coconuts.

A mission by Henry Elrod MOH.

A mission flown by David Kliewer.

Sunset after Edward planted the palms, coconuts and mangroves.

A shot out of sequence. This is from the Japanese raid on the rail head at Aranyaprathet, Thailand.

A detail only a mosquito could truly appreciate.

Camp Two where the contractors lived.

Pan Am flying boat dock. We could get a Clipper and you could take off and land in the water but that's about it. The one there on December 8th does have a history but pretty obscure. Ajax Baumler, ace in the Spanish Civil War, was aboard on his way to Rangoon to join Claire Chennault, who sought him out specifically. The Clipper sustained a few bullet holes and was forced to fly back to Pearl Harbor. Ajax Baumler enters Rising sun later.

Camp One. The water tower was the highest point on the atoll. A spotter telephoned information to Major Deveroux' command post throughout the battle.

Time to test it all out.

...the come around to strafe.

Watch out for the 50's.

Full up 36 plane raid from Roi...and no, you don't have to fly the whole way.

It's done. It goes out to test on Friday. Then it's going to be released.
Banzai.
