The only thing I don't like about YAP2 is the fact that you need a seperate install of WOV for it because you can't use the single mission generator. So I've had to keep a seperate install if WOV for the campaigns and single mission capability. It's not a really big deal as I've got the hard drive space available, but it's a bit of a pain if after flying one of the great YAP missions, with refueling, a night trap etc. (not to mention the AAA) I want to relax with a quick mission from the game and I have to boot up the other install.

Anyway, what I'm getting round to asking is if Rising Sun is going to let you fly single missions and maybe use the maps and props to create campaigns? I've already got two seperate SFG installs for PTO and CBI terrains that I've been using, but maybe one big Pacific War install could be the way forward?

I know that, as with YAP, you're here to tell the stories of the war and presumably that took precedent in YAP and led to your decisions on modifying the map. But if these are all new maps hopefully the runways will be oriented such that after flying a demanding real life mission I can jump into a quick mission with no problems (and no, I don't intend importing an F-14 and the Nimitz, at least not just yet anyway!).

Let me think about how we might do that. In YAP, the game engine would not know to put lights on the carrier at night. And it might defend a steel mill with a single rifleman. There might be a gimmick.
