Good stuff.
First, you will see pics from the strike on the Salween River Gorge below. The paintings all show a huge structure wiped out by tiny bombs and not the pontoon bridge that was actually there. We have two problems: no water in the river that far inland and no believable pontoon bridge. But we do have bridges we can use to cross a gorge. Thus, we go with what we know is not exactly right...a big bridge. You won't have the ordnance aboard to drop it but you will have tanks, trucks, men and one 25mm AAA gun to fight. The sides are steep and we think we can give you the thrill of dive bombing in an airplane not designed for such maneuvers...and some fine scenery.




I have to check where the mission falls into the spreadsheet. We have several B-25 missions in China, Burma and also in the islands. Edward accurately placed the Bridge on the inaccurately named River Kwai to take out with B-25's flown by the 490th BS.
I will research the third request. If I can find something that will fit in, be fun to play and not be repetitive, we will stage this also.
