I´m worried after I read here this add-on will be for SF1 .
Don´t you think SF2 has wider base of users at this time?

We will be testing Rising Sun and SF2 soon. I don't know what market split is but we all know that Microsoft needs to kill XP eventually.

Makes sense. Even here, the new PCs/laptops on the market are being sold with Win7 onboard. I have a PC with Vista which no doubt will be upgraded to Win7 at some stage + a gaming laptop with Win7.

It's 99% done and way overdue. We need to pick up a couple of skills to finish up.

Please no bending to commercial pressures, test and retest, make this a good one when released. Superb work is not done in haste. Tks thumbsup

No worries there. We are pushing the game engine to the limits of its ability...something that cannot be done except in a story-based environment. But we want it to be something we are proud of...as proud as we are of Yankee Air Pirate.

On the other hand, we drained the YAP treasury creating Rising Sun and we need to reverse the flow soon.

We have to finish Burma terrain and then it's ready to put out to test.

Some things work better in Rising Sun. Some don't work. We will have to guide the stories away from those things that do not work well or distract from the immersion.

Since I have have nothing but Windows 7 that is a pressing need for me.
