Missed Friday so here's the Saturday update. We are making pilots and people, making turrets point where the guns are shooting, matching ranges with reality on AAA, weighing warheads against the damage we want done, picking the stories we want to tell, painting airplanes to match squadrons, making decals, tweaking skins...the usual.

Here are some shots.

G3M2 in the two skins we will use.

PBY taking off from the water in one of the skins we will use.

Testing George Welch mission against D3A1's in the wrong skins over Oahu.

G4M2's en route from Saigon to sink the Prince of Wales off the coast of Malaysia.

Low pass of the Prince of Wales in final paint scheme.

G3M2 from 22nd Air Flotilla firing torpedo into the Repulse.

Low pass over HMS Repulse in near final paint.

Phase Two TBF-1. Permission to come aboard. The next one of these shots we post will have the Hornet in it.

Back to the salt mine...

One nice tidbit. We dragged Sundowner out of retirement to paint the Hurricane Mark11A for Phase One. Can't have Yanks painting Hawker or Supermarine fighters. I am eager to see it.

Ant,

I got it. I almost laughed. It was so much better than my Hurricane skin it was funny. I will throw a little red mud and black oil on it and send it off to Rangoon and Lashio.

I think they would like to see a Sundowner paint job...

Thanks. It's a beauty as usual.

Here's the final skin for 17 Squadron at Mingaladon in Rangoon.

Model originally by Wolf, pilot from Geo and the skin from Sundowner.
