You PC specs are very similar to my PC and I have F4AF running. I suggest the following:
http://simhq.com/forum/ubbthreads.php?ubb=showflat&Number=2345555 I know you are not getting that far but it may help.
Second thing, create a new shortcut of your .exe and paste on desktop. Add -nomovie on the commandline of the shortcut. I'm not at my Gaming rig at the moment, but it would look something like:
C:\Program Files\Lead Pursuit\F4AF.exe -nomovie NOTE: there is a space after exe and before the -
or
"C:\Program Files\Lead Pursuit\F4AF.exe" -no movie I can't recall if there are any " in the shortcut commandline.
Also you will want to do the following:
Here is what you do....
If you use 18x.xx or later drivers like 185.85 (what iīm doing on an evga gtx260core216 card)
and you want to enjoy the brilliance of AA ingame BUT also avoid the BuGS in your
Userinterface (Recon, Paylaod-screen etc etc)
then there is one smart workaround:
1st:
In nVidia control panel FORCE ( override ) Anti-Aliasing settings ..( i have it on 8Qx)
....DONT use Enhanced
2nd:
then create a file with name BFops.cfg in your main folder [ X:\Lead Pursuit\Battlefield Operations ]
(if you havenīt done already for other settings) and add the line
set g_bForceSoftwareGUI 1
and save it.
So what happens now, your UI will run "free" from driver compatibility-conflicts, and at some points here and there even faster........
I tested it and it works like a sharm. Full 8Qx AA brilliance infight and NO anomalies or fuglly bugz in User-Interface anymore...
The above may have been fixed with the latest nVidia drivers, but I haven't removed the line in my BFops.cfg to test it.
