I felt the need to build a campaign on the wonderful but underutilized Slovakia map. I opted for an alternative history campaign covering the 1948 Czechoslovakia crisis, offering a purely hypothetical look at what might have happened if the leadership had chosen to resist Soviet pressure to hand over the country to the Communists.

It is a brief but intense campaign, with the player flying the Avia S-199 over six days of war.

Version 1.0 now available here: http://mission4today.com/index.php?name=Downloads3&file=details&id=800

This campaign requires Ultrapack 2.01, as well as the following additional items:

Avia S-199 mod : Search "S-199" at SAS

New Static Planes mod, v1.1 or higher : Search "New Stationary Planes" at SAS

Czechoslovakia Skin Pack : Search "Post-war Slovakia" at SAS

Comments welcome. Enjoy!

Hmmm... I'm not sure. It's possible I missed a mod in the list of requirements.

Is the "New nation mod" already incorporated into UP 2.01 ?

I thought it was, but perhaps not. That would certainly explain it.

Oops, I hope you don't mind but I just did a EX-57 S-199 skin for a Bf-109G based on other reference pics. Didn't mean to step on anyone's toes. I am only up to the 4.09 upgrade anyway. So I'm not sure your more authentic S-199 would work in my game. I would download your campaign anyway but I have been burned with a virus from MFT.

My work has been uploaded to combatace.com. I did an Israeli S-199 skin for the Bf-109G-Late as well.

Anything is possible but it is highly unlikely that you got the virus from Mission 4 Today servers. Secondly if you remember what download was the one that you considered to be bad we could run a check on it. We run virus scans on the downloads hosted by M4T servers regularly but if the uploader used an outside hosting service we can't control that servers content. In those situations if we were to find a bad file or a reported file is found to be bad we would deactivate the download until it could be fixed. In the two plus years I have been an administrator at M4T it has never happened but like I say anything is possible it is just not likely. I also don't want to discount someones complaint out of hand without trying to check it out.

Cheers: cheers

Thanks, yep This was from an outside site. sigh Its also why I shy away from their 4.10 and 4.10m upgrade.

On another note. Any suggestions for references on line for Czech post WWII aircraft. Does your campaign have a Czech Me-262 for example (there was such a thing) wink .

Combat-Asylum.com and Mission4today.com are ours so those should be the safest.
Combat-Asylum is our Rise of Flight website and where Mission4Today's downloads older than a few months are stored.

The Mediafire links in the v4.10m and v4.101m patch downloads are owned by administrators of M4T. Those also should be safe links.
If you want an all in one patch that takes you from v4.07m to v4.10.1m use the IL-2 MegaPatch 4.10.1m_EN patch. That one is owned and created by MaXMhZ and all the Mediafire links are owned by administrators of M4T. Using the Megapatch to patch over v4.09m should work just fine but I always tell people to back up their install before adding any updates as a safety precaution.
