Anything's got to be better than SuperHind.

That video makes it look really pretty. Got a decent looking HUD and authentic looking FLIR shaders with fake video clipping. Lots of things blowing up. Two player online mode. Comanche Maximum Overkill meets Desert Strike?

Sounds like it could be a bit of a blast. Their iL2 game I couldn't even be bothered to finish, just hope the missions are more entertaining.

AAA: looks pretty indeed Flexman.
Yet where's the cockpit ?
The PS3's and XBOX 'controls' are too limited ... so my guess is that the PC's version will be limited by that too.
From what I have seen of your own coming Combat Helo title that doesn't even compare because it will be a true Sim.
Thus, no competition really ... there definitely is room on any PC (and my own PC) for both your Sim as well as more Arcade-like stuff like this (if it is well executed and fun).

I totally agree, no competition. It will sell a factor of ten times more smile
Does it have a release date yet?

Did Gaijin work on Team Alligator or was that someone else?

Not that I know of.

Don`t worry Flex, C-H will go more in depth and with continual improvements/updates it will live longer and will attract a great deal of attention.

may your words be listened to ... somewhere.

Apart from that, it would actually be pretty good for flex if he'd be able to pull one tenth of their sales, something of 1% appears to me more realistic.

The Gaijin Terrain engine is a killer, the rest ... oh well.
I suppose C-H to do it the other way round.

Michael.

Yes, 1% is also probably optimistic smile it's not something I worry about at all. I was just commenting from my personal POV as a gamer, I really am looking forward to a console helo game.

I find it odd that people here are so critical of someone trying to put out a sim these days. No wonder the genre is so dead compared to 10 years ago. Not every sim has to be an exercise in obtaining a pilot's license, it can be a lighter sim. That doesn't make it "arcade". Without these sims, no one will move on to the more complex sims, and they will continue to die out as fans leave. None of us have even seen the thing yet. Gaijin isn't exactly EA or Ubisoft, it would be good to see some support for the other smaller companies trying to bring some more serious gaming to the world with excellent efforts *and* leading technology.

Word.

I'm gonna buy it. It looks like fun. The two player co-op could be cool.

I will buy Apache: Air Assault too.
If it is anywhere as good as BOP/WOP (as expected) then we are in for a real treat.
OTOH I am quite a bit afraid with *any* console oriented game/sim because of the controls (or lack of).
Sims like EECH2, LB2 ... offer the immersion of almost being in and operation from a cockpit. I have yet to see any console oriented title (most titles these days are although also published on PC as well) being able to simulate that.
