For want of a little more work in enabling modding support, they could have a game that, like EECH will be the subject of 'where can I get this game' threads (ie, still making sales) in 5 years time.

unfortunately, I couldn´t resist to buy this game on DVD in Germany - helo sim is a bit to much on that
in comparison to DCS and Longbow.
I thought it for relaxing from IL2 and DCS, but I have problems to understand the way to setup the controllers.
No matter what I do, I can not get away a noticable and allways being active twist to the left, on the pilots
and the gunner seat as well.

Have a Cyborg X, deadzones for the axis are in, but it doesn´t help.
Pilot or gunner, allways turn left, direct from start on, and constantly.
Hard to turn the twist to the right in the recommended force the whole time for compensation.

I know how to fly helos - I´m doing it, even if they are radio controlled only.

I can´t find something like an instruction manual as well. Does one know, were it is hided?

Blue screen in my XP S3 with bad_pool_caller I countermessured with playing the game in a window,
but don´t know really, where it comes from.
Easyer as well, if my gouverment is asking what I´m doing on the rig - and I´m sensing it ahead

BTW: would like to change during flight as in Gunship, but did´t figure it out yet.

I had a similar problem, Mein Herr, with a Logitech Extreme. I first thought it was a XBox product that escaped disquised as a PC Game. I tried to contact Gaijin, the supposed authors in Moscow. Twice asked with no response. I then went to Activision who were responsive and "somewhat helpful". I would recommend an Activison contact for the future with this program. In the event, they responded that I "make sure that all the controls are mapped." I translated this to mean that each action of the controller, pitch, yaw, back, had to me mapped or setup as a specific response to the particular controller in use. You must double click with a mouse the instruction. This will call for a controller or keyboard designate which you can then choose. This did work for me. If not for you please ask again here or to Activision.

thanks for helping, but it´s weekend unfortunately and site don´t contain many informations.

Something together with the CyborgX seems to causing bad_pool_caller. Thought I solved it, but I didn´t.
CyborgX isn´t shown in "Choose configuration menue", but three others in total.
Standard (choosen one at last, has full nailed axises per default, after others failed as well)

By choosing the axis in configuration menue the CyborgX is named correctly, so detection works somehow, seldom...
In the hangar, I have a walkaround the shown Helo with the twist, twist centered, helo is nailed.

In flight no choice for a smooth stop, allways turn left constantly. A real pilot/gunner would have emptyed his stomache for shure.
At my army time, one must have payed with a bin beer to the ground crew.

This is the first sim since my ATARI time without any usable manual. Kind of banana software, maturation at the customer.

Have 1.0.0.2, check sum testing is giving me that 6 files differ. What shall tell it to me?

The check sum will tell you if your installation has integrity. It will not affect your controller "mapping". In some games, I found you can rename the controller to setup its own .ini. I went back to Apache and it recognized my Logitech Extreme. I do not know the controller you are using. That compatibility question should be raised with Activision Support. It would appear that you are on the correct path. You should go to the Controller sub-menu. Double click on the control that you want to "map". Once inside that sub-sub-menu, exercise the activity (X-/X+/Y-/Y+) then press Apply. This method should MAP the controller as I found through the "great users manual" that accompanies the game and deciphering the words of tech support.

you would not enjoy the snow, if you would be in Germany.
Im located in the north of Lower Saxon, and a couple of communitys is running out of salt.
No fun to drive to work on flat driven snowcover on the street if you´r a bit absent from the bigger roads.
And really no fun, if you prefere motorcycle, like I do, even if I´m owning a car as well allways.
My old lady never saw a garage, even she´s 22+. One of the real first Africa Twins, RD03 J.

yes, I did. Sounds like a couple hav had the same problem, some solved, dunno how, some solved not, dunno how as well.
English is not my native language, but my treads are written out of my head and with no orthographics control or such crap.

I can not understand, why a program is realeased with a very low leveled manual within the game only.

What the heck is a Activate FLIR axis Y god for, and why I must have an X as well?
Why I must activate one but have a (seperate?) key/axis for the left/right/up/down.
Why do I have partially three posibilitys to map and in other cases only two or only one?
Why can I put in Joystick axes/buttons everywere?
The controller setup is confusing me, first time in all the sims I owned.
And I´m a flight sim fanatic with big admits to the sims.
Both Janes Longbow, EECH, Gunship, EAW, IL2 (ALL) BlackShark and a couple more.

A:AA is driving me nuts.
In freeflight training I choose no enemy, I´m cilled within 20 seconds from a MI35, every time.
Two wingmen are there and fullfill the mission - okay, but for the last training I choosed to have none.

And this checksum thingme. After the update I clicked testing and has been surprised with corrupted(?) files.
What does it tell me, even I can fire up the game. If they are corrupted, what is corrupted and how I could get
them from the official web side?
