I just want to fly a little bit on tree top level in free flight mode, making pop up and down maneuvers, because tree`s and landscapes are so stunning.

Are you guys looking at the axis in the axis mapping? If you double click on the throttle axis and you can chk the range of motion on the little box that comes up.... and do you have enable flightstick throttle on in control options? Just a thought... my little logitec PS3 controller look alike works great...

I´ve rechecked all settings yesterday evening. Enabled flightstick throttle, Linearity for throttle axis to 0 and it`s working now. yep Don`t know what changed the situation because flightstick throttle was enabled by default, but I changed that setting after I had these problem with the throttle range. I´m able to fly NOE now and to come to a hover a few feet above the ground without to engage Autohover.
I did a free flight above a town in Zazirkistan and it was a immersive ride. I have to admit that sounds are really great. Bullets and RPGs flew around me and my gunner was screaming. Gun sound and FLIR is like that what we can hear and see in all these Apache youtube videos. I like it!
Sure, we still need a Apache simulation exclusive made for PCs.

I had a dream we had Arneh's cockpit ( with finished avionics upgrade package, this is a dream remember, ) and he put it in A:AA terrain engine and their full body pilots in the 'pit, with all other EECH upgrades and campaign... waht a dream!

Oh why can't we have a detailed sim with these terrain graphics? Even if it meant small maps I could live with that for the sort of terrain we see in A-AA and WOP.

yes it truly is frustrating.. looking at Combat Helo , everyhting is looking great, though I'm not so sure about the Leadwerks terrain engine.... the geography looks great, but the trees not so good.... comparatively the vegetation in A:AA is incredible. And the little things like the crazing in the windows if the sun hits it just right, the sun coming through the rotor blades and strobing on the instrument glareshield,hope CH includes those little touches ... things I hope CH avoid are the missile smoke trails that A:AA uses ... with the hellfires at least.. the seperate puffs of smoke, it looks good from behind the missile,( like one long smoke trail) but look at it from the side and it looks weird to me with the seperate puffs of smoke, though this is leagues better than EECH's polygonal smoke trails! Also , have persistent burning destroyed targets and great explosions, like the blowing , shifting smoke in EECH, and A:AA's explosions. And bring back the shaking cockpit like LB2 had!!

the update was mainly for not having to be on the internet to play the game, once the game is activated once you dont have to go throught that again on start-up, though mine still says checking activation every time I start it...
