Finished at last! I bought this last summer, and started it almost immediately, but have only finished it this weekend. It has an Airwaves seat, SAC undercarriage legs, Royale Resin wheels (superb), Hasegawa GBUs, Eduard RBF tags and TwoMikes FOD covers. Ooh, and an Eduard ladder. I've had some issues with the canopy and am awaiting a very gracious replacement from Revell, so here the damaged one is just tacked in place. There are also a few scratchbuilt covers and guards.

EDIT: There's TwoMikes inboard pylons on there too. (If you could get a 1/48 resin kitchen sink, I'm sure I could have shoe-horned it in!)

Thanks for looking!

that is a beautiful model, great work on the weathering, nice and subtle
love the flattening of the tyres to simulate the aircrafts weight, do you
do that with some heat to distort the tyre or do they mould them like that
these days?

Cheers
Craig

Hi Craig,
Glad you like the Typhoon. The wheels are add-ons made by Royale Resin (excellent products) and are molded with a bulge.

Awesomely done. All that's missing are the scrape marks of the groundcrews boots on the top surfaces and the brake parachute penant. I thought we had a health and safety culture, looks like the Germans have a love for 'remove before flight' flags too wink Foreplanes could be angled downwards slightly more, but you've captured the 'Phoon well. cheers

Many thanks for the replies!

For aesthetics or are they locked for maintenance? I've seen them at all sorts of angles in photos, including completely opposed.
