Sweet! When did you order it? Can you post your impressions of the WH when you get a chance? I had to agree that if mine comes in before Christmas "I will not open it until Christmas morning". If I was to open it before Christmas morning it would NOT go well for me.

Cheers! smile

I'm sticking to holding out hope that it will be quicker than December ... but I am willing to wait for that low price I ordered the Warthog at.

Well good news and bad news.

The good news is that I just received a call from Anitec and, being number 1 on their orders list for the Warthog, mine has just been shipped.

The bad news is that their supplier only received a dozen or so units and Anitec, only one of those units. There are about 200 on back-order with their supplier - meaning that Anitec and other companies that use this supplier have 200 back orders distributed between them. The orders are coming but the Canadian distribution is slow and suffering from a lower priority.

Yeah I picked it up the day after my last post in this thread.

At the time I ordered mine (October 16), it was shown as "Special Order" on the Soho page. Guess that was a codeword for "we only have a few and our distributor is not much help".

Luckily I listened to that impulse-buy devil that was sitting on my shoulder the minute I saw that low price :-)

Finally got my call from Anitec yesterday. Their supplier in Toronto has got hold of about 100 units and is shipping 6 of them to Anitec. Mine's one of them and should be here next week.

The girlfriend's not letting me open it until Christmas, though... biggrin
