Our boys in France and Belgium are having a tough time and by the sounds of it the German forces are breaking through everywhere. We're on standby to head across so today we're going to patrol the Dutch and Belgian coast for familiarisation purposes.
The whole squadron will stay together until we reach the Dutch coast, then A flight will patrol north and B flight south. All aircraft then rendezvous at the coast north-west of Bruges then return to base in good formation.
Patrol altitude is 12,000ft though expect cloud extending that high, so the flight leaders have discretion to climb slightly higher.
