I crumbled and picked this up.

Its not bad but the destructable scenery is a lot less significant than you think - compared to BC2 where a tank can reduce your house to bits...

The other trouble is that the active cover thing is sod to work (press X to get in/out of it).

Plus there are the usual CS rambo types running round slotting people at spawn points with pistols.

However if it was organised teams on comms, with mouse-holing etc and more MOUT-style maps it could be very cool.

I think that Fallujah tac FPS that was canned and which this is essentially the tech demo for could have been very interesting indeed - bringing in this dynamic destructible cover. (Especially if they had brought in some other MOUT equipment like ladders etc).

Once the ADD crowd disappear thou it might get better

player base will disappear... and IMO... thou a good cheap game... unless you can't afford the higher end games like BFBC2, CoD:BO, or MoH... then why? Why play a lower standard, B rated MP game... not that it's not good, just... it's the same as all the others only cheaper and less support.

Poor Atomic games, this will be the death of them.

Ya, it's pretty sad. PC Gamer gave it a 81. They said lack of maps and aging graphics was it's downside ...

http://www.pcgamer.com/2011/02/08/breach-review/

If someone could just come in, polish it up, add ten more maps and better textures, it would be really good.

I’ll probably still take it out for a few more runs tho smile
