He was upgrading to ICE from the demo but bought the wrong item. Think he was trying to multi task and failed.

Will let him know. Thanks for the quick reply.

Hi Jason,

I plan to buy ROF-ICE from amazon, since it is on sale.
Then, after browsing the net, I find this post, so my questions are:
- Is this demo exactly the same as the digital version of ROF-ICE from amazon?
- So after I download the demo, if I want to upgrade it to full version, i just put the code from amazon?
or I have to install again from amazon site?

Sorry if this are noob questions, I never buy a digital download version before.

With warmest regards,
Tirta

PS. do you have torrent file of the demo?

Hi,

I've just failed twice to download this: The first time it downloaded 2.8GB then tried to run (not a valid 7z archive message), the second time it timed out on me after it was aroud 70% complete.
Trying to resume started it from 0% again....nope
Any chance the download could be made resume supported? I'm a bit frustrated as I've been trying to download it all weekend dizzy
I'm in the UK, and my bandwisth isn't the greatest (typical 58kb/s)

Another option would be to try Free Download Manager to download the demo. It will give you Pause - Resume, keep your connection up, and verify download integrity much like BitTorrents do.

Thanks for the info guys - the Torrent worked fine, and I'm quite impressed by the game.
My first PC flight sim was Dawn Patrol back in the early '90s and although I have played RB II and OFF, this is much more the sort of thing!

Didn't have Force Feedback and TrackIR 5 back then though biggrin

After a couple of hours on the Demo, including having my @rse well and truly kicked in MP, I've upgraded and can report that I'm one happy customer.

I downloaded the previous demo version a few days ago - it seems to have updated to the latest demo version fine, and am looking to upgrade thumbsup

I'm trying to make sense of the RoF pricing policy though. Is there actually any point in buying the demo upgrade at all? If I buy the Iron Cross edition, I get 7 more aircraft for $50, whereas I can buy them all individually, and get an extra one (to get the 30% discount for 8 ) for $43 or therabouts. Or am I missing something? Do you get any other new content now, if you upgrade form the demo to the Iron Cross edition?

Yes you are correct. Just enter the code from Amazon into the Demo.

Choose whichever route fits your wallet best. Pricing will adjust and come into line more in the future. These are early days of new Demo model.
