Very nice find there Mojo, very good.
Not a bad logo, but if Magnum is going to use it, you'll need a fly and some maggots on there! ;-)

Ya, it's not intended to be the one the SimHQ guys here use.

I just grabbed the SimHQ logo here, and the arma2 logo from the BIS site.

I am going to make one without the Arma logo, and just SimHQ and my name, and something else, not sure what, anything to distract me from doing some actual work...

Alright, I've been trying to get my logo saved to .paa format, but every time I try to open it with TexView it says "Error loading xxxx.tga"

I've tried creating a .tga from scratch in GIMP following the Biki instructions and still get the same. I've spend the last 4 hours creating/editing my pic just right and hit a wall Cuss

any ideas before I put my fist through my monitor?

Long time since I made mine. Sure you have the correct dimensions?

I had problems with texview as well, although I am pretty sure it wasn't that error.

I found a site that would convert a .png file to the .paa format.

It is http://www.armedassault.eu

See my last post on page 1 of this thread.

I had a 256x256 image that I created from scratch and just wrote some gibberish on it and saved straight to .tga just to make sure it wasn't something with my image. Tried different sizes, colors, all following the directions on the Biki to the T. Still no go.

Yeah mojo I saw your post and was having the same problems, but I booted into WinXP and it worked so I guess it's a Win7/Vista issue. I also went to that WWW site; but I can't find where it converts files. Do you have to be a member?

You have to register on the site, it is free though, just basically like a forum registration.

NoUseForAName, I had the same issues with Texview unable to load a .tga file--"Error loading xxxx.tga."

My solutions was in GIMP 2 to uncheck the compression box in the Save As dialog and save the .tga without RLE compression. (The default is to use compression.) Texview could then load it.

Kudos to Beton on the biki for this tip.
