Here's the next airplane I want to see released for ROF.

Wings, we need more of them! I have a fever, and the only cure is... More wings!

Looks like the ugly aftermath of one D.VII attempting to mate with another with a Dr.I thrown in for a threesome. Thought this was supposed to be a family friendly site! neaner

Love. You can know all the math in the 'Verse, but take a boat in the air you don't love, she'll shake you off just as sure as the turning of worlds. Love keeps her in the air when she oughtta fall down, tells ya she's hurtin' 'fore she keens. Makes her a home.

Wishing I was in the La Cloche
Maybe its a trainer. Sure looks like it needs another cockpit.

Is that for real? If so, please provide link.

Makes you wonder why the Germans didn't win more wars, they certainly had the guts to try new technology. But on the other hand maybe if more of it had worked...

Fokker V.8

The Fokker V.8 septuplane was the product of Anthony Fokker's imagination. His Chief Engineer, Rheinhold Platz, was opposed to building the aircraft.
Some portions of the V.6 were used. Biplane wings were added mid-fuselage, producing an aircraft with five wings.
The pilot was seated just ahead of the biplane wings. The triplane wings forward were just behind the propeller.
Tony Fokker, who was his own test pilot, flew it twice. It never flew again. The Fokker V.8 was powered by a 160 hp Mercedes engine.

Those clever Fokkers, lol, they knew if they got those designs in the air the enemy would die laughing.

The forward visibility in that thing had to be absolutely horrid.

Would make the F4u look tame by comparision.
