Game tonight is gonna be good. Been giddy with anticipation all day, having such an important divisional game against Chicago this early in the season. Go pack Go! yep

7-9 this week. Sigh. So, that makes me 23-24.

Brian Urlacher is a beast at linebacker. And of course, former Arizona Wildcats player Lance Briggs plays at outside LB. No wonder I love Da Bears.

Ah well, at least it wasn't a blowout, we'll see you Bears again at Lambeau, in the last game of the regular season.

Hopefully it won't be for anything Vault-dveller.

But I suspect it may be for the NFC North title.

If the Bears take the next game against the Giants there is a good chance that they could run out to 7-0 or 8-0 before they face the Vikings. They have their two toughest opponents (Seattle and Washington) at home and their other two games (after NY) are at Buffalo and Carolina. I predicted the Bears to go 10-6 this year but I also expected them to lose to Dallas and twice to Green Bay. It is hard to say now what the team can do. Maybe 11-5 or 12-4. That would be amazing considering how badly this team played last year.

Of course there are a lot of things that can alter that whole scenerio. Urlacher or Briggs or Peppers gets hurt, Cutler starts throwing INTs again, could be a lot of things.

Urlacher was hurt most of last year, right? Man, when that guy is healthy, he is a real force to be reckoned with. Da Bears tradition of great linebackers continues.

If anybody besides the Pack are going to win the NFC North, I would prefer it be the Bears...anybody but the Vikings, my contempt for them goes back to long before Brett Favre ever played a single NFL game. I have respect for the Bears and their age old rivalry with the Pack, but not so much for the Vikings, bunch of princesses, they play their home games indoors. I'd definitely trade losing twice to the Bears for winning both games against Minnesota.

You guys will dismantle Minnesota. Your run defense is stout and you get pressure with your defensive scheme. Favre is old and it is now finally showing. This will be his last year and I don't think it will be a good one for him. The Vikes are 1-2 and have to face the Jets, the Cowboys, the Packers and the Patriots after their bye. If Favre is still standing after that then thier schedule gets a little easier but they could easily be 1-6 and still facing Chicago twice, Green bay again as well as New York, Washington and Philly. The Vikings might be lucky to win six games this year.

Ugly time up in Minny.
