Another game, another one in the loss column. Sheesh.

This time of the season gets nutty as teams that have to win get beat by teams that have nothing left to play for...

They play for pride. It's good to be a spoiler when your team is already "out".

Imagine if they had played for pride during the first 14 or 15 games...

I have a hard enough time picking games. Now I've got to try to figure out which teams are in the playoffs and assured of position and therefore are going to protect key players and take it easy. Doesn't hurt them if they lose at this point. Versus teams who are out and have nothing to lose. So to speak.


Me: So Brett, the ViQueens are not in the playoffs this year. How does that feel?

I close the week with two consecutive misses on games I thought were pretty solid. 9 and 7 for the week, 139 and 100 for the season.

Another crappy week. I quit after next week.
