Either one will do. One downloads the full program to run locally on your PC the other runs the program over the internet.

Ok,, got that and created a campaign. I have a folder in my main ROF folder called RoF Campaign. this is your program. In that folder is a campaigns folder. In that folder is my new campaign,,called 1st try. in the 1st try Folder are three files. 1st try.mission data,,1st try.aces,, 1st try.campaign.

when i click campaign in the game this new 1st try campaign does not show up.

where to next?

thanks Pawgy

The campaign plays out in single missions. Go to single missions in game and look for 1st try titled missions. Once the mission is run you need to go back to the campaign manager and create a combat report manually. Noting down any kills you made and those of you flight. Once that is hit create mission to generate the next mission.
Missions are created with a date in the title to identify them

thanks Brigstock . I think I am ok now. Just could not spot any enemy my first try. saw some air activty but it was miles above me.

Edit. 1/2 hour later. Looks like it would be a very nice addition to ROF butmy computer is not powerful enough to run these missions. Just too many planes in the sky. My machine gun shoots about 1 bullet a second. thanks for trying to help. I would need to be able to limit the amount of aircraft in the air at any one time.

WOW!

I'm just starting to get into RoF, as I have always been an OFF fan. What always bothered me about OFF was the stale limitations of the CFS3 engine, and now that ICE has made RoF more reasonable, I find myself making a slow transition.

This campaign generator has made RoF very appealing to me! This is excellent work and I would love to see where future development of this campaign system leads!

Imagine the implementation of a claim system (that must be verified), moving front lines, historical squadron placement with skins! RoF with the elements of the OFF manager system and this Campaign would make THE definitive WW1 sim!

Again, this is great work! Thank you for your efforts!

Which, of course, is possible.
You need to re adjust the settings for the generator.

Look at the first page when the app opens, there is a tab for settings
