yes, 32bit and 64bit... well RS does, not sure about the true orginal... the orginal GR does too.

This is late, but I can confirm the original Rainbow Six, Rogue Spear, Urban Opertions and Black Thorn all work on Win7 Ultimate x64. Please note that I use the updated versions of RS6 and RS from Tom Clancy's Counterterrorism Pack - which was re-made to work on XP.

The original RS6 kinda works -- it runs really fast =/, and for me it has this bug where if you save too many plans for one mission, waypoints start disappearing or the mission will crash.

I'll post my compatibility, graphics settings and a handy tool to stop the engine from "shimmering" when i get home. P.S. Rogue Spear does *not* like to be run at a refresh rate greater than 60mhz!

edit: no compat modes needed. A/A and A/S work fine and make it look better. Didn't play well with 8800GTs in SLI.

Wasn't there a mod to rogue spear which imported all the missions from rainbow six into rogue spear? I think I even fooled around with that once, so if the original won't work at all, I'll try with that modification instead.

Another note:
Ravenshield and Athena Sword run on a *netbook* very nicely. 800X600 and mid graphics settings, but with the small screen it looks great! (non-ION) A little sluggish in planning mode, but livable and execution phase runs fine.
