Hi,
Played a demo of X-Plane 8 a LOOOOONG time ago - thought it was fun (the helo stuff especially) and then never thought any more about it. Just occurred to me, in my current mood of "quick - buy all the simulation gear you can lay your hands on!" that I should check it out again.
I'm aware that X-Plane 10 is in the works, but given how cheap this sim is in it's current guise (I paid around £18), I couldn't resist - so as of tomorrow I'll be the proud owner of X-Plane 9

Hopefully someone will be in to accept the delivery! Naturally, having read the few bits and pieces about X10, I'll be getting the new version too once it's released

All this new stuff over the next couple of months - mad really, as I have about a month's work waiting to complete on EECH updates (along with a code migration) - I can't hang that sim out to dry just so I can play

Ah who cares - least it's all simulation twiddling

How much space does it take to install the whole thing off the DVDs (I know you have to leave one in for copy protection, but still) ?
Martin...
