A lot of you guys didn't think the Texans could pull off a home opener against the Colts but they did it.

To all of you I say...Nah Nah Boo Boo! LOL!

Great football weekend for me as the Texans and the University of Houston Cougars pulled out wins against the opposition.

So far 6 and 6. Though I would have picked NO over Minn on last Thursday just on principal. The Farve Principal.

Detroit was robbed because of a conformity to the exact letter of the rewriting of the rules concerning what a completion is. I thought he had control and RELEASED the ball to get up and celebrate. Baaaaaah. I didn't pick 'em, but.......

Dallas LOST!!!!!!

My HOMER team - I mean HOME TEAM - the Pats did much better than I expected. Rookie DB McCourty had a fantastic take away from TO (edit for correct name) on the very first play from scrimmage. Ripped a sure completion for ~ 30 yards from TO's hands. Both Offence and Defensive lines did well considering the question marks on both sides of the ball.

THE SURPRISE of the day was Indy. Who'd a thunk? Well a few of you did. Congrats.

Tomorrow has two more games. The J-E-T-S JETSJETSJETS are going D-O-W-N DOWNDOWNDOWN. The second has SD vs. KC. I'm picking the Chiefs. My reasoning is SD's annual slow start.

EDIT: Turned out to be 8 - 6. I picked both MNF games correctly.

Well, I'm 7 and 6. Ready for the flat out 50% goal after tonight.
