currently using the 3G and since they did the OS4 upgrade my phone has been slower. Loading aps, typing and even shutting down. I can upgrade to the 4 but was wondering how much more bang for the buck is there? My battery sucked on the 3G and I couldn't multitask which really pissed me off as I use Iheart radio a lot at work and everytime I text I have to close Iheart radio....

I love my Iphone but not a fan of the AT&T coverage but to me where I live and travel mostly covers the majority of my time. Just wondering if I should make the jump?

I have the new iPhone 4. I think it's fantastic at everything but being a phone. I drop so many calls its not even funny. Now is it the iPhone or the service? I don't know because I use to have a Blackberry with US Cellular.

If my phone is in my pocket, it'll not ring sometimes. If my phone is in my pocket in my car, the car's bluetooth barely gets a signal. Also for some reason my bluetooth plantronics works like crap with the iPhone.

Soo depending on what you need your 'phone' for it has pros and cons. It kicks ass at everything but being a phone.

Battery life is OK, I can get two days from a charge if I don't use too many apps or play games. ...might be able to stretch it to 3 or 4 days depending on how you use it. For example, right now my battery is at 87%, it's been off it's charger for 11 1/2 hours. I talked on it for a few minutes and checked the weather a few times.

A cool phone that does all kinds of things but also gives you an excuse for "dropped" calls or being unreachable?
This could be the most perfect phone ever for me.

I went from a 3G to a 4. I love it, I've only gotten a few dropped calls due to my crappy apartment complex. The battery lasts longer for me, though I don't use bluetooth so I don't get the drain.

Have a 3Gs and waiting for 4.01 before I upgrade the OS. It just got released today so I'll likely upgrade sometime this week.

I have a 3G and my 4 arrived on saturday, unfortunately it had pixel errors so I sent it back, waiting for a new one now.
iOS 4 also made my 3G slower, seems like they fixed that with 4.1. Installed it earlier, didn't really test it but writing a few messages it already seemed faster.
Too bad they didn't include GameCenter for the 3G, seems like they slowly drop official updates for it.

I don't make that many calls, seem to text and email more. Kids love the games, my 9 yr old already has dibs on my 3G but I'm going to wait awhile till giving to him. I'm downloading the 4.01 now, hopefully that makes a difference.

If I were you I'd shop around and look at some of the newer android phones and so on.  Even if you like the iphone at this point the competition is good enough that you should consider them before getting locked into AT&T for 2 more years.

Got the Droid X and love it. Wife got a Droid 2. I had AT&T for about three years and will never go back to them. I'm loving the Droid X even more after I found out how to use DNLA.

I use a 3Gs, and I just upgraded to ios4.

I have absolutely no issues, I was apprehensive but everything is working out, no glitches or setbacks of any kind.

I think if you're not using a 3Gs or newer then ios4 may be a bit of a resource hog.

I've played around with a co-workers Android phone, but I wasn't too impressed. On paper it had the iPhone beat, but the OS felt clunky and jittery. Another setback I didn't like was all of the beta applications, or add on features that just made the phone a mess. The phone itself was very cool though, I don't recall what it was called but the display was great, and looked like a quality product.
