Thanks, I hadn't seen those images before! And as you say, the best from the Mi-28 I've seen so far. But still would need a lot more to create an accurate 3D cockpit.

I am surprised at the level of technology and electronics in these pictures.
This is the first cockpit who looks better than the American helicopters.
Ka50 In comparison with the MI28 looks like a total antique.

I have no doubt I am 'resurrecting the dead' with this post, but I ran across another set of photos of the Mi-28N cockpit in a blog, and the Ka-52 cockpit as well, and thought I would share.

Mi-28N blog page

Ka-52 cockpit

As another anomaly of interest, a gallery of Ka-50 photos of a blue, pre-ABRIS cockpit.

Well for me I'm glad that arneh made the 3D cockpit for the Mi-24 instead of the Mi-28 one!

Mi-24 is a true flying legend and BY FAR my favourite Russian helicopter - A true gunship with enourmous firepower and extremelly resistant to enemy fire coupled with a true troop transport capability - That's something unique for any helicopter in existance even today!

I don't care that the Mi-28 is better than the Mi-24 in the gunship role (Althrought the most recent variant of the Mi-24, the Mi-35M could "teach one thing or two" to the most modern attack helicopters such as the Mi-28 wink ), for me the Mi-24 is the "best attack helicopter of the world" wink
