What the title says. Some of my Control choices are 'greyed out' (actually in red) and won't let me make or change the keyboard shortcuts. Anything to do with online chat, skip cut-scene, Map and a few others. They used to work, because a couple of them show shortcuts I assigned aeons ago. The non 'greyed out' ones will let me change them just fine. Something simple somewhere needs altering I expect, so does anybody know what?

cheers

And I'd like to know why there are 3 columns for setting input on each 'variable'...

In order to get my CH rudder pedals to work I had to assign all three yaw columns to the pedals; having only the first column assigned to pedals meant that the twisty stick still over-ruled the pedals.

EDIT: This is not a complaint, but simply seeking an explanation of something that I have never seen before in a flight sim, and what I had to do to get my hardware working with that non-intuitive "feature".

Yes, some keys cannot be changed or configured:

M for map, and Space to skip cutsceens are just two examples...

And the reason there are three columns are simply for options.

You have a primary, secondary and tirtiary input for one control.

You can delete any assignments you do not want by clicking the X in the upper right corner of the box.

What if I want guns to shoot with my joystick trigger button, with a backup on my mouse, and another backup on the keyboard - In case the other two fail? ROF has the functionality to do just that! I'm suprised there's a complaint with that. If ROF only supplied one column for assignment - there'd be #%&*$# that we didnt have enough options I guess.....

p.s. my CH pedals work just fine assigned in the first box, with the other two empty.

*shrug*
