Hi,

I see threads about problems with windows 7. Is this still a problem?

I expect to order the DVD, install it and play. Is that a realistic expectation?

I'm running Win 7 64bit.

It is a very real expectation. It is exactly how it went for me -- popped in the DVD, installed it on my win7 rig and started it right up.
