Mental note to self: don't overtake Alex mid-corner smile

I'm surprised you managed to stay to the end Alex, lol, well done.

My riskiest passes were just before the high speed right-hand kink, would I make it? Would we collide? Pretty fun biggrin

I think a track like that almost begs to be race on a somewhat regular basis. I know there's other good tracks...but RA is just near and dear to my heart. I like Seca, don't get me wrong...I'm almost sure to want to run that one as well. But other tracks just don't get under my skin like RA.

Well, I'm sure part of it is it is close enough that I've been there a few times and driven/ridden the track. biggrin

I have never been to Road America, or anywhere in Wisconsin. The closest I've ever been is Detroit. But I still love this track and I am very happy that Doug selected it for this race.

I've been lobbying RA for years... cool

Ya ya, I lapped my 2009 Charger on High Plains Raceway and so its my favorite. Smile2

I have so much fun racing with you guys. I like to wait a few days after the race to see how many times my name pops up. Just one time this race - a personal best! For anyone thinking of joining our races - come on in, but come to the practise races, too. All the guys who have helped me - thank you, and especially Sim-HQ for hosting.

Lights are on for my LMP2 after a suggestion in practise that it was easier to see the LMPs from behind. At the beginning of some races the GT drivers made mention of it... I turn them on and have them buttoned to my wheel to flash.

The passing is challenging. The Prototypes have to get around. I'll take the inside or the outside. This was my best race for running clean and not causing trouble. Its been a treat to watch the ALMS races on Speed channel over the summer. The few times my car spun I held it off track for the close in racers to go by - one of the best lessons I got, from Green Hell.

There were no light to dark daylight changes in my race...

My system is a Windows 7 and I did a bunch of clean up before the race - in particular a Windows security update to fix some IE lockups - but right before the race sign on time I got a jupdate.exe pop-up for a Java update and it switched my screen out of rFactor - not sure what would have happened during the race...

Hey Teej - good racing with you for the 6th spot. You looked to be in an Acura P1 my friend, not in a P2.

Ahmad - we are not your traffic #%&*$#. (Where did that come from? Well, it is funny. I sure laughed out loud!)

I do like my little Dome P2.

Thanks doug for hosting - I had a great race! driving

Hey, back at ya.

It was absolutely a P2 though.

Makes me wonder where I'd have ended up if I hadn't jumped infront of Pumbaa (my fault) or speared Pierre (not my fault). I made assorted other little errors, but those two situations cost me huge. Easily over 2 minutes between repair time and limping back to the pits...and then I spun out in front of you on the 2nd to last lap. ewf. biggrin
