Hi all.

I'm having trouble updating my CM stick software. I cannot get the sites at www.wibu.com or www.codemeter.com to open! My browser keeps timing out. Initially I had some success opening up both sites but I was using a download manager to get the software I needed and when this did not work out I figured that maybe the download manager was the problem and I disabled it. Problem is that now I cannot access either website at all. Its like I've been locked out! I cannot get Steel Beasts to work until the CM stick software (not the licence! Licence already upgraded) is upgraded. Any ideas? Is there some other site where I can download the latest CM runtime kit?

Do you have IE installed by chance? Maybe you could use it instead of your current browser. I use Firefox and it gave me all kinds of warnings but it let me through after I agreed to a few things.

Otherwise, you have to change your Browser security settings in "options" to a lesser amount.

Hello mate, are you using Windows explorer as your browser? If not it might be an issue with that.
Try installing IE an see if thet lets you go in.

Hi folks, way ahead of you! I tried firefox but it was not working well and so I switched to IE. IE worked when it came to upgrading my licence but when I tried to download the CM runtime kit, the browser would not open! I am using Windows 7 64-bit. Could it be an OS based problem? I still suspect that it may have something to do with my initial attempt to download the runtime kit with Internet Download Manager. This is because the download was running smoothly till it got to about 95% and then it ground to a halt. After that I could not get back to the CM website. Its really like I have been locked out. Maybe the CM guys have issues with using download managers at their site and anyone that tries gets locked out but then again I did not see any warnings about that! I am so worked up because I can't get Steel Beasts to run without the most recent runtime kit!!

Never mind! Downloaded what I need from Graphisoft . Funny though how I still cannot access wibu or codemeter!

Easy Update on the Stick for me, exept those Firefox warnings about untrusted Wibu and Codemeter...

Yes, that security certificate thing... they are working on it, but I have no idea how quickly such a certificate can be renewed/amended (might actually take some time if the registrar take their jobs seriously).
