S~!

For those of you who don't keep up on the latest mods, MAKE SURE to check this one out.

Lock On Post-Processing Filter Mod, really changes the game experience, combined with NocloudShadows mod (says BlackShark but works with FC2 as well) it totally transformed terrain, immersion and realism.

Thanks to the Authors and to Aegeandp for bringing them to my attention.

Mod is available at Lockon Files Here

Nice stuff! Thanks for the heads up Protos, that really adds to the sim. Does this eat a lot of FPS?

I didn't notice anything, but I have a really strong rig. The nice part is you can set how much processing you want, that allows you to control what if any fps hit there is.

i didnt notice any FPS hit either (i7-920 @ 4ghz, nvidia gtx295)

it just sharpens the image (which is nice for the scenery up close but it looks a little silly having crystal clear mountains far in the distance) and makes everything darker.

it, presumably the sharpening, also introduced some minor small white dot artifacts on the mountain edges.
I'm only running at 2xAA, so it might be resolved with a higher AA setting. Will see if i can capture it in a screenshot.

Yea, I tried this MOD but it made everything so dark. It also made changes to the TV guidance window to target the A-10 Maverick that I did not like. I had no FPS drop either but did not want to “tune” everything up with several parameters I did not know was doing. It’s a good idea but should come with a manual to tune up all settings.
